The 2nd Architectural Biennial Beijing (ABB2006)

ABB2006:
ABB2006 is for the first time in architectural history in China for holding such a large multi professional exhibitions and forums co-organized jointly by the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Culture P.R.China on September 26¡«October 6, 2006, including one main theme exhibition, two special theme exhibitions and five forums. (see the item form of ABB2006)
The main theme of ABB2006 is ¡°City and Architecture: Resources Efficiency and Environment Friendness¡±. The ABB2006 will focus the connections between urban planning and architectural design. The participants will study and discuss the policies and solutions mainly on economy and management of resources, and environment friendness in the buildings of city, between urban and rural construction, city and nature, exchange the experiences of rural construction, and forecast the developments of cities in the 21st century internationally and constructively.

ABB2006 Tours:
Professional study tour to newly built housing projects in selected communities in Beijing, day-tour for city sightseeing and long-rang tour to different parts of China will be organized. Detail information will be published at ABB2006 website soon.

ABB2006 Hotel Reservation:
The ABB2006 Organizing Committee will select about 5 hotels from 3-star to 5-star as the official hotels at a lower price as a privilege to registered participants. Detail information will be published at ABB2006 website soon.

ABB2006 Registration:
All participants to ABB2006 are requested to make registration. The policy of registration and terms of payment of registration fee is published in the ABB2006 Item Form.
